ASLA Construction require the services of local subcontractors for the construction of new residential units in Nkubela.

The type of activities, the minimum team size expected of a subcontractor team and the number of teams required are listed below. Current unemployed individuals who may have skills in any of the required subcontracting activities are encouraged to make up subcontracting teams for possible employment on the project.

No individuals will be employed on the project, unless the subcontracting team size allows for a single person employment. To be considered for employment on the project the subcontractors must register on the Vendor Management Database.

Preference will be given to local subcontractors, where reasonable, feasible and capacity exist to deliver work of acceptable quantity and quanlity within the required timeframe.

NB: EMPLOYMENT OF SUBCONTRACTORS WILL ONLY BE DONE SUBJECT TO SUCCESSFULL REGISTRATION ON DATABASE AND INTERVIEW.

Notice is hereby given of the joint public participation process in terms of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998) (NEMA), as amended and the National Water Act (Act No. 36 of 1998) (NWA).

The landowner and Applicant (Imdawo-Ekuhle (Pty) Ltd) is proposing expansion of cultivation areas, enlargement of one of the existing farm dams and expansion of a pipeline on Farm Vergelegen (RE/767), in order to increase the economic viability of the farm. Please refer to the attached notification in this regard.
